Introduction of the organization
SAFETeen aims to promote learning and skills among secondary school students with particular emphasis on hazard perception, emotional regulation, and balanced decision-making. It will develop Digital Tools by tailoring interventions to the developmental affordances of secondary school students using life scenarios of adolescent behavior. The mobile phone application called “emergency-aid tool” combines cognitive, mood, and fitness assessments with real-time feedback and will be a practical and accessible tool for promoting safe commuting. The Virtual Reality tool places adolescents in immersive, realistic scenarios that replicate everyday commuting challenges providing an interactive and engaging learning experience.
